The Suburban Classes Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDDEEFFGGEEFFHH

There is far too much of the suburban classesA
Spiritually not geographically speaking They re assesA
Menacing the greatness of our beloved England they lieB
Propagating their kind in an eightroomed styeC
Now I have a plan which I will enfoldD
There s this to be said for them they do as they re toldD
Then tell them their country s in mortal perilE
They believed it before and again will not cavilE
Put it in caption form firm and slickF
If they see it in print it is bound to stickF
Your King and your Country need you DeadG
You see the idea Well let it spreadG
Have a suitable drug under string and labelE
Free for every Registered Reader s tableE
For the rest of the gang who are not patrioticF
I ve another appeal they ll discover hypnoticF
Tell them it s smart to be dead and won t hurtH
And they ll gobble up drug as they gobble up dirtH
