The Jungle Husband Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCDEEFGHIIJK

Dearest Evelyn I often think of youA
Out with the guns in the jungle stewA
Yesterday I hittapotamusB
I put the measurements down for you but they got lost in the fussB
It's not a good thing to drink out hereC
You know I've practically given it up dearD
Tomorrow I am going alone a long wayE
Into the jungle It is all greyE
But green on topF
Only sometimes when a tree has fallenG
The sun comes down plop it is quite appallingH
You never want to go in a jungle poolI
In the hot sun it would be the act of a foolI
Because it's always full of anacondas Evelyn not looking ill fedJ
I'll say So no more now from your loving husband WilfredK
