Freddy Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDDEECFGEHDIDJJCK AKLLEEACCCJMNM

Nobody knows what I feel about FreddyA
I cannot make anyone understandB
I love him sub specie aet ernitatiesC
I love him out of handB
I don't love him so much in the restaurants that's a factD
To get him hobnob with my old pub chums needs too much tactD
He don't love them and they don't love himE
In the pub lub lights they say Freddy very dimE
But get him alone on the open saltingsC
Where the sea licks up to the fenF
He is his and my own heart's bestG
World without end ahemE
People who say we ought to get married ought to getH
smackedD
Why should we do it when we can't afford it and haveI
ourselves whackedD
Thank you kind friends and relations thank youJ
We do very well as we doJ
Oh what do I care for the pub lub lightsC
And the friends I love so wellK
There's more in the way I feel about FreddyA
Than a friend cal tellK
But all the same I don't care much for his meelyoo I meanL
I don't anheimate mich in the ha ha well off suburban sceneL
Where men are few and hearts go tumptytumE
In the tennis club lub lights poet very dumbE
But there never was a boy like FreddyA
For a haystack's ivory tower of blissC
Where speaking sub specie humanitatisC
Freddy and me can kissC
Exhiled from his meelyooJ
Exhiled from mineM
There's all Tom Tiddler's time pocketN
For his love and mineM
