Masked Saints Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSH LKTUVWLXYXZ

Deep in the dark they sneakA
They are in masksB
Armed with objects of crimeC
Depriving others of their belongingsD
Shedding innocent blood with their handsE
Sacrificing to the unknownF
Calling out words with no meaningG
Burning cilia in the nostrilsH
Seeking wealth and power from evil sourcesI
Their hearts and hands are uncleanJ
Their minds not brighter than blackK
They have been on the pulpit before the nightL
Spilling out motivations on the congregationM
With their cunning and sharp tonguesN
Like two edged swordsO
Cutting through bottles of honeyP
And pouring them out to their peopleQ
They make you believe and like themR
They wear suits and hold briefcasesS
They walk in light as if newly descended angelsH
Here they are in the nightL
Dressed in straight gowns red and blackK
With scarves tied around their headsT
Carrying pots and calabash filled with unclean riverU
Holding lamps to find their pathV
They increase in number because they supposedly offer good things that do not lastW
The Sun is high they're in no masks and they're in whiteL
They're on the pulpit appearing so holy before youX
Praising their maker aboveY
But I tell youX
Wait to find them when the sun is no moreZ
