Lost Pride Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACAD EFDGH DIJ KLMNF

My grandfather told meA
It was never soB
The land was rich and filled with honeyA
There was neither too rich nor poorC
The land belonged to Tweduampong the AlmightyA
Greed was no word knownD
-
He sighed wiped some rivers down the eyesE
He continued 'till till ' he repeatedF
Till the Obroni came yes the ObroniD
He took all awayG
All the gold all the artefacts all the riches the beautiful culture of our people the norms and traditions of our landH
-
Now there's little to share little to be proud of little to love little to tell the new generationD
Then the word came to liveI
So we now fight for the little left we fight for the power to own fight against our own indigentJ
-
And I wonder wonder if it could be any betterK
My solace my only comfort is to waitL
Wait in earnest for Tweduampong to comeM
Come for what belongs HimN
For His gift to the natives wasn't appreciatedF
