Bleeding Heart Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCEFGFGHIHI| You made me believe you were mine | A |
| And picked my heart from the fridge | B |
| Where your warmth made me fine | A |
| Just to leave me all on a half bridge | B |
| You left my heart to fall | C |
| And deeply bleeding with tears | D |
| All that I could recall | C |
| Were shared joys over the years | E |
| Now you have left me all to myself | F |
| Forgetting all your golden promises | G |
| And here I am struggling for self | F |
| For my heart to heal from the bruises | G |
| But when it is your turn to crack the bone | H |
| It has to be a reminder to you | I |
| That you don't live in a world all alone | H |
| Your brothers are here too | I |
