Sonnet Xxvi: Though Dusty Wits Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CBCB DED EFF

Though dusty wits dare scorn astrologyA
And fools can think those lamps of purest lightB
Whose numbers ways greatness eternityA
Promising wonders wonder do inviteB
-
To have for no cause birthright in the skyC
But for to spangle the black weeds of nightB
Or for some brawl which in that chamber highC
They should still dance to please a gazer's sightB
-
For me I do Nature unidle knowD
And know great causes great effects procureE
And know those bodies high reign on the lowD
-
And if these rules did fail proof makes me sureE
Who oft fore judge my after following raceF
By only those two stars in Stella's faceF
