Sonnet 88: Out, Traitor Absence Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB ABAB CCD AAE

Out traitor Absence darest thou counsel meA
From my dear captainess to run awayB
Because in brave array here marched sheA
That to win me oft shows a present payB
-
Is faith so weak Or is such force in theeA
When sun is hid can stars such beams displayB
Cannot heav'n's food once felt keep stomachs freeA
From base desire on earthly cates to preyB
-
Tush Absence while thy mists eclipse that lightC
My orphan sense flies to th'inward sightC
Where memory sets forth the beams of loveD
-
That where before heart lov'd and eyes did seeA
In heart both sight and love now coupl'd beA
United powers make each the stronger proveE
