Sonnet 54: Because I Breathe Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCBBDEFEFGH

Because I breathe not love to every oneA
Nor do not use set colours for to wearB
Nor nourish special locks of vowed hairB
Nor give each speech a full point of a groanC
The courtly nymphs acquainted with the moanC
Of them who in their lips Love's standard bearB
'What he ' say they of me 'now I dare swearB
He cannot love No no let him alone 'D
And think so still so Stella know my mindE
Profess indeed I do not Cupid's artF
But you fair maids at length this true shall findE
That his right badge is worn but in the heartF
Dumb swans not chattering pies do lovers proveG
They love indeed who quake to say they loveH
