Astrophel And Stella'eleventh Song Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABC DEDE FGFG HBHB DIDI AJAJ KLKL MGGG NONO

Who is it that this dark nightA
Underneath my window plainethB
'It is one who from thy sightA
Being ah exiled disdainethB
Every other vulgar light 'C
-
Why alas and are you heD
Be not yet those fancies changedE
'Dear when you find change in meD
Though from me you be estrangedE
Let my change to ruin be '-
-
Well in absence this will dieF
Leave to see and leave to wonderG
'Absence sure will help If IF
Can learn how myself to sunderG
From what in my heart doth lie '-
-
But time will these thoughts removeH
Time doth work what no man knowethB
'Time doth as the subject proveH
With time still the affection growethB
In the faithful turtle dove '-
-
What if you new beauties seeD
Will not they stir new affectionI
'I will think they pictures beD
Image like of saint's perfectionI
Poorly counterfeiting thee '-
-
But your reason's purest lightA
Bids you leave such minds to nourishJ
'Dear do reason no such spiteA
Never doth thy beauty flourishJ
More than in my reason's sight '-
-
But the wrongs love bears will makeK
Love at length leave undertakingL
'No the more fools do it shakeK
In a ground of so firm makingL
Deeper still they drive the stake '-
-
Peace I think that some give earM
Come no more lest I get angerG
'Bliss I will my bliss forbearG
Fearing sweet you to endangerG
But my soul shall harbour there '-
-
Well begone begone I sayN
Lest that Argus' eyes perceive youO
'O unjust Fortune's swayN
Which can make me thus to leave youO
And from louts to run away '-
