Honey collected by honey keepers
Is but the sweet nectar from flowers.
Nested in a home called comb
Is protected as a baby in a womb.
A viscous liquid containing glucose and fructose
Is a good medicine, I suppose.
The golden brown honey
As sweet as granulated sugar
Not to mention, our immune system booster.
Its smell we covet, its taste we relish,
Lethargy it removes, energy it furnish.
Let's be grateful to its maker
That never denies the taker.
