While I Was Drunk Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCBDDEEFGEE

The seas gave way to the earsA
As it perched my worst fearsA
Heavy linings etched upon polesB
Of colorful future wedged upon holesB
That dreadful laughter sinking soulC
In the gutters seeking bowlsB
At ease in painful melodyD
With the mind in the state of melancholyD
Rapturing sorrows in disguiseE
Capturing hearts in the unwiseE
For the shakes Shakes spearF
To the rhythm of ShakespeareG
For the heart's in rubblesE
As the soul dances to the green bottlesE
