Once Upon A Time Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGGGGHHIIJKEE

From the streamA
To the deepest rimB
Of thoughts ravaged by stormsC
Of the very nights brightened by drumsD
Heavy pestles hitting the mortarE
Yes The pounded yam we ate as brothersF
All but memories buried under the baobab treeG
That was cut and buried on a spreeG
Now it is all about moneyG
Greed that tastes better than honeyG
A violent sketch of barbaric auraH
Poisoning our souls like cobraH
The hut now burnt and set ablazeI
For civilization to cast its glazeI
Your brothers out to kill you at duskJ
For a penny pray you don't run out of luckK
There's no peace seekerE
Violence No brother's keeperE
