Gorilla - 6 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEE FGHI JKB LBEL MNOL PQ

How can I hold myself from singing the real songA
My soul can no longer bear its weight this huge countryB
Lies like a veritable railway platform on my chestC
I must reveal the real story of these ostentatious trains thatD
Parade before us they are not carrying the people theyE
Are carrying the governments of the dayE
-
Comrade don t remain still in the egg ForF
How can the egg fly Do not make your face likeG
The evidence of a lost empire Remember the working musclesH
Are not graveyards of aspirationsI
-
It is only to make your wings that my window keepsJ
Sleepless all the night when dawn opens its eyesK
We are seen by it beside a rickety lamp myself and my tools of poetryB
-
The target of my clenched fists is only oneL
Always and that is he Only the hands of his chair hold the fat greasy bodyB
Of that beast otherwise long ago he would have been the preyE
To the inexorable force of earth s gravitationL
-
If he does not let my children eat their foodM
I will make the earth drink his bloodN
My poetry does not fly any flag ButO
My hands are the swords of my nationL
