Gorilla 13 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE EFCGE HEEEICE JKELE EHEC MENLEEHO

I have no cuckoos in my pocket I have come withA
Bombs crammed in my fists Certain stars are perchingB
On my fingers descending as dreams Certain stars turning intoC
Apsaras drop on my eyelids I implore on bended kneesD
O life don t crucify me on happinessE
-
-
Knocking at my door stands my country s future CooliesE
Are grazing at midnoons like herds of sheep They have changedF
Equality into a mythological dream white ants have eaten intoC
Words and poets of this country sages are turnedG
Into books and buried in librariesE
-
My India is fixed like a thumb impression on theH
Map of the world cholera to the sun coma to the continentsE
And tuberculosis to the oceansE
Not air but storms are roaring in my lungsE
I have come with baskets of eyes and legs to sellI
Buy them o countrymen all of youC
Who have no eyes and who have no legsE
-
Remove all those stone idols which have beenJ
Installed on the chests of our people and throw awayK
Those old gods into throats of those flamesE
Which have woken up stretching theirL
Bodies to their full heightsE
-
I who rambled over yards and yards of green fieldsE
As voluptuous breeze have now turned into aH
Fierce storm which rushesE
Across forests just for youC
-
No one can trap me like a wild beastM
And chain me The world cannot break me and yearsE
Cannot subdue me I am sowing my words into the earthN
Of this country so that swords may grow everywhereL
I am Agni brandishing flames as whips in my handsE
There are no cuckoos in my pocketsE
