Home Sweet Home Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FCGHI JKELMN OPQRL

I hear the wild roarA
The swish swash of the virgin jungleB
I smell the wild flame lilyC
The sight of the wild red roseD
This is the perfect feeling of homeE
-
Home is in my heartF
There is nowhere I would rather beC
For the sweet wails of love I would missG
Calling like the hyenas do from a distanceH
Then I know I am immersed in love so uniqueI
-
My imagination goes so farJ
So much further than the thousands of milesK
Through which dreams fly me homeE
Fear grips my every beingL
A fear of the unknownM
This world has set me captiveN
-
As I snail through this American afternoonO
A jungle of its own kindP
All I think of is you momma AfricaQ
Being away from you makes me a villainR
What the hell am I doingL
