I was a young manA
Lusting for every heartB
Trying to conquer every mindC
To satisfy a covetous egoD
A lost cause an unbalanced hormonal stateE
-
Came along a girlF
Young and fresh from high schoolG
Looking for love to give and to getH
Mesmerized by a sly smileI
She fell for a married manA
-
Not wanting to settle for second bestJ
She took the risky road to prove her fearsK
She came out bruised and in tearsL
Hurting angry and dejectedM
All because of the first cut the deepestN
-
In anger she settled for second bestJ
In derision she jumped on the first busO
Destination unknown fare just a guessP
By the window she sat and watchedQ
The trees and the mountains fly pastR
-
Years of growing up three daughters laterS
I realize how bad I was inconsiderateR
Taking a good heart for a rideR
A shadow cast over my lifeT
A love I won t set freeU
-
How can I soothe your grieving heartR
How can I cool the flames of your desireS
How can I heal the first cutR
You are worth every tear every acheV
You are a Queen worth bowing down toR
