At the stroke of twelve
Assemble the elves
To submit the glass slipper
Cinderella left behind

Bring a pumpkin
Make out of it a carriage
Let's attend the ball
The prince will be stunned

Where is my chosen maiden
I saw her clothed in the clouds
And the sky,a garment around her waist

Two foot men
One couch driver
And four white stallions
Pulling a golden carriage

That is where my Cinderella
In a glass slipper
Descended from and disappeared

Lizards and pumpkins
Mice and a goose
That's the clue to find her
My missing Cinderella
It is like a dream but better than a dream

It all happened
At the stroke twelve
And it was all lost
At the stroke of twelve
Except for the glass slipper
She left behind
