A Nation Falling To Pieces Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FGHIJ KLLMNOP

Ever heard of untold stories beforeA
Before the beginning of timeB
Time never lived hereC
So we placed our trust in no oneD
But the clocks in our mindsE
-
One day our nation shall riseF
Rise againG
But it falls again in the endH
What shall become of our dreamsI
Of flying high above like an eagleJ
-
The country we both love is falling into piecesK
The country Kwame Nkrumah formed on the dead bodies of warriorsL
With the sweat and blood of our forefathersL
Is now left rotting to nothingnessM
It is breaking down in front of us like the walls of JerichoN
So tell me how can a country fly like it is supposed toO
If it keeps sinking in the quick sandP
