The Treasure Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDE FGFHIIJJ

When colour goes home into the eyesA
And lights that shine are shut againB
With dancing girls and sweet birds' criesA
Behind the gateways of the brainC
And that no place which gave them birth shall closeD
The rainbow and the roseE
-
Still may Time hold some golden spaceF
Where I'll unpack that scented storeG
Of song and flower and sky and faceF
And count and touch and turn them o'erH
Musing upon them as a mother whoI
Has watched her children all the rich day throughI
Sits quiet handed in the fading lightJ
When children sleep ere nightJ
