Mutability Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDEF GHIGIH

They say there's a high windless world and strangeA
Out of the wash of days and temporal tideB
Where Faith and Good Wisdom and Truth abideB
'Aeterna corpora' subject to no changeA
There the sure suns of these pale shadows moveC
There stand the immortal ensigns of our warD
Our melting flesh fixed Beauty there a starE
And perishing hearts imperishable LoveF
-
Dear we know only that we sigh kiss smileG
Each kiss lasts but the kissing and grief goes overH
Love has no habitation but the heartI
Poor straws on the dark flood we catch awhileG
Cling and are borne into the night apartI
The laugh dies with the lips 'Love' with the loverH
