Why doesn't this historyA
That I fight to make a mysteryA
Ever turn out to be a victoryA
-
Is it judgementB
By sight than insightC
A book by cover thanD
The chapter and verse of the contentE
-
Because once again in my gazzeboF
I stand hands akimboG
Mind in retrospectionD
Eyes on to an orchardH
Which sm out of reachI
-
A gangrenous heart am nurturingJ
Not by desire but by natureK
I have wished to retire for my futureK
But am human by virtueL
Who is bound to rule of heartsM
Being driven by emotion than reasonD
Am I the virtual oneD
Or the life I live is the virtual oneD

Rodgers Jr Kizito

Poet's note: Speaking of unsuccessful trials to win someone one loves despite having no clear reason for the love, it's is crystal clear the culprit is deeply emotional and every time nursing wounds of unreciprocated love.
