Weight Of Emotion

Why doesn't this history
That I fight to make a mystery
Ever turn out to be a victory?

Is it judgement?
By sight than insight
A book by cover than
The chapter and verse of the content

Because once again in my gazzebo
I stand hands akimbo
Mind in retrospection
Eyes on to an orchard
Which sm out of reach.

A gangrenous heart am nurturing
Not by desire but by nature
I have wished to retire for my future
But am human by virtue
Who is bound to rule of hearts
Being driven by emotion than reason
Am I the virtual one?
Or the life I live is the virtual one.

Poet's note: Speaking of unsuccessful trials to win someone one loves despite having no clear reason for the love, it's is crystal clear the culprit is deeply emotional and every time nursing wounds of unreciprocated love.
