Words Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAABCDC EFEFAGAG HIHIAAAA

If on isle of the seaA
I have to tarryA
With one book let it beA
A DictionaryA
For though I love life's sceneB
It seems absurdC
My greatest joy has beenD
The printed wordC
-
Though painter with delightE
May colours blendF
They are but in his sightE
Means to an endF
Yet while I harmoniseA
Or pattern themG
A precious word I prizeA
Like to a gemG
-
A fiddler lures fine toneH
From gut and woodI
A sculptor from stark stoneH
Shapes godlihoodI
But let me just caressA
Like silver birdsA
For their own lovelinessA
Bewitching wordsA
