To Mrs. Will. H. Low. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIAJKLFMNOPQR

Even in the bluest noonday of JulyA
There could not run the smallest breath of windB
But all the quarter sounded like a woodC
And in the chequered silence and aboveD
The hum of city cabs that sought the BoisE
Suburban ashes shivered into songF
A patter and a chatter and a chirpG
And a long dying hiss it was as thoughH
Starched old brocaded dames through all the houseI
Had trailed a strident skirt or her whole skyA
Even in a wink had over brimmed in rainJ
Hark in these shady parlours how it talksK
Of the near autumn how the smitten ashL
Trembles and augurs floods O not too longF
In these inconstant latitudes delayM
O not too late from the unbeloved northN
Trim your escape For soon shall this low roofO
Resound indeed with rain soon shall your eyesP
Search the foul garden search the darkened roomsQ
Nor find one jewel but the blazing logR
