The Patchwork Quilt Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEHere is this patchwork quilt I've made | A |
Of patterned silks and old brocade | A |
Small faded rags in memory rich | B |
Sewn each to each with feather stitch | B |
But if you stare aghast perhaps | C |
At certain muddied khaki scraps | C |
Or trophy fragments of field grey | D |
Clotted and torn a grim display | D |
That never decked white sheets before | E |
Blame my dazed head blame bloody war | E |
