Morning PhÅ?nix Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF GHGH

In my body lives a flameA
Flame that burns me all the dayB
When a fierce sun does the sameA
I am charred awayB
-
Who could keep a smiling witC
Roasted so in heart and hideD
Turning on the sun's red spitC
Scorched by love insideD
-
Caves I long for and cold rocksE
Minnow peopled country brooksF
Blundering gales of EquinoxE
Sunless valley nooksF
-
Daily so I might restoreG
Calcined heart and shrivelled skinH
A morning ph nix with proud roarG
Kindled new withinH
