Love And Black Magic Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCCDDEFFE GGEEEHHEFFE IIJJJEEEFFE

To the woods to the woods is the wizard goneA
In his grotto the maiden sits aloneB
She gazes up with a weary smileC
At the rafter hanging crocodileC
The slowly swinging crocodileC
Scorn has she of her master's gearD
Cauldron alembic crystal sphereD
Phial philtre FiddlededeeE
For all such trumpery trash quo' sheF
A soldier is the lad for meF
Hey and hither my ladE
-
Oh here have I ever lain forlornG
My father died ere I was bornG
Mother was by a wizard wedE
And oft I wish I had died insteadE
Often I wish I were long time deadE
But delving deep in my master's loreH
I have won of magic power such storeH
I can turn a skull oh fiddlededeeE
For all this curious craft quo' sheF
A soldier is the lad for meF
Hey and hither my ladE
-
To bring my brave boy unto my armsI
What need have I of magic charmsI
'Abracadabra ' and 'Prestopuff'J
I have but to wish and that is enoughJ
The charms are vain one wish is enoughJ
My master pledged my hand to a wizardE
Transformed would I be to toad or lizardE
If e'er he guessed but fiddlededeeE
For a black browed sorcerer now quo' sheF
Let Cupid smile and the fiend must fleeF
Hey and hither my ladE
