Rhyme Scheme: AAAABCCDBEEDDFFGGHIF BBJJKLLMMLMLMEENNNNO OOPPOQQO

I now delightA
In spiteA
Of the mightA
And the rightA
Of classic traditionB
In writingC
And recitingC
Straight aheadD
Without let or omissionB
Just any little rhymeE
In any little timeE
That runs in my headD
Because I've saidD
My rhymes no longer shall stand arrayedF
Like Prussian soldiers on paradeF
That marchG
Stiff as starchG
Foot to footH
Boot to bootI
Blade to bladeF
Button to buttonB
Cheeks and chops and chins like muttonB
No NoJ
My rhymes must goJ
Turn 'ee twist 'eeK
Twinkling frostyL
Will o' the wisp like mistyL
Rhymes I will makeM
Like Keats and BlakeM
And Christina RossettiL
With run and ripple and shakeM
How prettyL
To takeM
A merry little rhymeE
In a jolly little timeE
And poke itN
And choke itN
Change it arrange itN
Straight lace it deface itN
Pleat it with pleatsO
Sheet it with sheetsO
Of empty conceitsO
And chop and chewP
And hack and hewP
And weld it into a uniform stanzaO
And evolve a neatQ
Complacent completeQ
Academic extravaganzaO
