1915 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBAAC DEFEDDF

I've watched the Seasons passing slow so slowA
In the fields between La Bass eacute e and BethuneB
Primroses and the first warm day of SpringC
Red poppy floods of JuneB
August and yellowing Autumn soA
To Winter nights knee deep in mud or snowA
And you've been everythingC
-
Dear you've been everything that I most lackD
In these soul deadening trenches pictures booksE
Music the quiet of an English woodF
Beautiful comrade looksE
The narrow bouldered mountain trackD
The broad full bosomed ocean green and blackD
And Peace and all that's goodF
