Vivien's Song. At The L.l.a. Examination Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAB CCB CCB DDB

In Algebra if Algebra be oursA
x and x can ne'er be equal powersA
Unless x or none at allB
-
It is the little error in the sumC
That by and by will make the answer comeC
To something queer or else not come at allB
-
The little error in the easy sumC
The little slit across the kettle drumC
That makes the instrument not play at allB
-
It is not worth correcting let it goD
But shall I Answer Prudence answer noD
And bid me do it right or not at allB
