Poets Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAABCCCB DDDEFFFE

Children of earth are weA
Lovers of land and seaA
Of hill of brook of treeA
Of all things fairB
Of all things dark or brightC
Born of the day and nightC
Red rose and lily whiteC
And dusky hairB
-
Yet not alone from earthD
Do we derive our birthD
What were our singing worthD
Were this the wholeE
Somewhere from heaven afarF
Hath dropped a fiery starF
Which makes us what we areF
Which is our soulE
