Fickle Summer Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCA ACCA DEFDEF

Fickle Summer's fled awayA
Shall we see her face againB
Hearken to the weeping rainC
Never sunbeam greets the dayA
-
More inconstant than the MayA
She cares nothing for our painC
Nor will hear the birds complainC
In their bowers that once were gayA
-
Summer Summer come once moreD
Drive the shadows from the fieldE
All thy radiance round thee flingF
Be our lady as of yoreD
Then the earth her fruits shall yieldE
Then the morning stars shall singF
