No matin of the lark so sweet | B |
No grass so green beneath my feet | B |
Nor with such dewdrops jewelled o'er | C |
- | |
I stand with thee outside the door | A |
The air not yet is close with heat | B |
And far across the yellowing wheat | B |
The waves are breaking on the shore | A |

A lovely day Yet many such | D |
Each like to each this month have passed | E |
And none did so supremely shine | F |
One thing they lacked the perfect touch | D |
Of thee and thou art come at last | E |
And half this loveliness is thine | F |
