A Summer Morning Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBC ABBA DEFDEF

Never was sun so bright beforeA
No matin of the lark so sweetB
No grass so green beneath my feetB
Nor with such dewdrops jewelled o'erC
-
I stand with thee outside the doorA
The air not yet is close with heatB
And far across the yellowing wheatB
The waves are breaking on the shoreA
-
A lovely day Yet many suchD
Each like to each this month have passedE
And none did so supremely shineF
One thing they lacked the perfect touchD
Of thee and thou art come at lastE
And half this loveliness is thineF
