The Cow In Apple Time Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Something inspires the only cow of lateA
To make no more of a wall than an open gateA
And think no more of wall builders than foolsB
Her face is flecked with pomace and she droolsB
A cider syrup Having tasted fruitC
She scorns a pasture withering to the rootC
She runs from tree to tree where lie and sweetenD
The windfalls spiked with stubble and worm eatenD
She leaves them bitten when she has to flyE
She bellows on a knoll against the skyE
Her udder shrivels and the milk goes dryE
