Amherst never had a witchA
O Coos or of GraftonB
-
But once upon a timeC
There were three old womenB
-
One wore a small beardD
And carried a big umbrellaE
-
One stood in the middleF
Of the road hailing carsG
-
One drove an old cartH
All over the town collecting junkI
-
They were not weird sistersJ
No relation to one anotherK
-
A duly accredited witch IL
Never heard Amherst ever hadM
-
But as I say thereN
Were these three old womenB
-
One was prone to appearO
At the door not mineP
-
I've got my nightgown onQ
I can stay all nightR
-
One went to a partyS
At the president's house onceT
-
Locked herself in the bathroomU
And gave herself a bathV
-
One had taught Latin havingW
Learned it at Mount HolyokeX
-
Of course Amherst may haveY
Had witches I never knewZ
