Glass Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC DEF GHI JAK

Words of a poem should be glassA
But glass so simple subtle its shapeB
Is nothing but the shape of what it holdsC
-
A glass spun for itself is emptyD
Brittle at best Venetian trinketE
Embossed glass hides the poem of its absenceF
-
Words should be looked through should be windowsG
The best word were invisibleH
The poem is the thing the poet thinksI
-
If the impossible were notJ
And if the glass only the glassA
Could be removed the poem would remainK
