| Among the thunder and the lightning booms | A |
| No gurantee of life or livelihood | B |
| Or certainty of getting water or food | C |
| The apocalyptic world came to a standstill | D |
| The motto no more getting killed or to kill | D |
| But to stand out among the rest | E |
| By the methods apparently the best | E |

| The next day was a pathetic nightmare | F |
| With not a single tree left to spare | F |
| But all lay strewn over the lanes | G |
| Alongside glass fragments of window panes | G |
| The street dogs gave a terrified yelp | H |
| Probably anxious for some help | H |
| The lamposts lay broken to their necks | I |
| Amidst the plundered property wrecks | I |

| The cities looked like a junkyard | J |
| And bodies lay electrocuted and charred | J |
| By the unfathomable power of nature | K |
| Momentarily changing the earth's stature | K |
| Nature at its fullest cannot be taken easy | L |
| With a huge storm raging from an evening breezy | L |
| In what seems like a blink of an eye | M |
| It turns to a scenario that makes us cry | M |
