Baazars-the Essence Of India. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDD EEEEFFGH IIEEJJHH

Yelling and pushing to make some wayA
The crowd was endless in the dayA
One struggled and wriggled to have some spaceB
To pick an item or see the retailer's faceB
The shops were filled with endless goodsC
And many more lay covered in canvas hoodsC
Waiting to be brought out and to be soldD
Or to be put back in the shopkeeper's holdD
-
Many hawkers did throng in the passagesE
Selling their wares with fatigued visagesE
Often putting unreasonable prices for making gainsE
And being countered by agitated bargainsE
Then there were the vendors selling fishF
Their shops flocked with cats waiting for a dishF
More crowded with crows than men or womenG
That lined up for a free lunch to gainH
-
The shops and crowd never seemed to endI
Getting more populous in the narrow passage bendI
With strangers conversing like old friends and palsE
Sitting in the shops or leaning against the wallsE
People from all shades and walks convergedJ
And different religions and classes mergedJ
They shattered the walls of division and seperationH
And stood together as brothers of the same nationH
