To Lucasta, Going Beyond The Seas Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDD EEFFGH IIJJKK LLMMNN

If to be absent were to beA
Away from theeA
Or that when I am goneB
You or I were alone mdashC
Then my Lucasta might I craveD
Pity from blust'ring wind or swallowing waveD
-
But I'll not sigh one blast or galeE
To swell my sailE
Or pay a tear to 'suageF
The foaming blue god's rageF
For whether he will let me passG
Or no I'm still as happy as I wasH
-
Though seas and land betwixt us bothI
Our faith and trothI
Like separated soulsJ
All time and space controlsJ
Above the highest sphere we meetK
Unseen unknown and greet as angels greetK
-
So then we do anticipateL
Our after fateL
And are alive i'th' skiesM
If thus our lips and eyesM
Can speak like spirits unconfinedN
In Heaven their earthy bodies left behindN
