IA
Comanding asker if it beB
Pity that you faine would haveC
Then I turne begger unto theeB
And aske the thing that thou dost craveD
I will suffice thy hungry needE
So thou wilt but my fancy feedE
-
IIA
In all ill yeares was ever knowneF
On so much beauty such a dearthG
Which in that thrice bequeathed gowneF
Lookes like the Sun eclipst with EarthG
Like gold in canvas or with dirtH
Unsoyled Ermins close begirtH
-
IIIA
Yet happy he that can but tastH
This whiter skin who thirsty isI
Fooles dote on sattin motions lac'dH
The gods go naked in their blisseI
At th' barrell's head there shines the vineF
There only relishes the wineF
-
IVD
There quench my heat and thou shalt supJ
Worthy the lips that it must touchK
Nectar from out the starry cupJ
I beg thy breath not halfe so muchK
So both our wants supplied shall beB
You'l give for love I charityB
-
VB
Cheape then are pearle imbroderiesI
That not adorne but cloud thy wastB
Thou shalt be cloath'd above all priseI
If thou wilt promise me imbrac'tB
Wee'l ransack neither chest nor shelfeB
Ill cover thee with mine owne selfeB
-
VIB
But cruel if thou dost denyB
This necessary almes to meB
What soft soul'd man but with his eyeB
And hand will hence be shut to theeB
Since all must judge you more unkindeB
I starve your body you my mindeB
