Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCBBDDBBEEFF| I did believe I was in heav'n | A |
| When first the heav'n her self was giv'n | A |
| That in my heart her beams did passe | B |
| As some the sun keep in a glasse | B |
| So that her beauties thorow me | C |
| Did hurt my rival enemy | C |
| But fate alas decreed it so | B |
| That I was engine to my woe | B |
| For as a corner'd christal spot | D |
| My heart diaphanous was not | D |
| But solid stuffe where her eye flings | B |
| Quick fire upon the catching strings | B |
| Yet as at triumphs in the night | E |
| You see the Prince's Arms in light | E |
| So when I once was set on flame | F |
| I burnt all ore the letters of her name | F |
