Four Seasons Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FBG HIJK LM

It was summer timeA
when I heard the clang of ourB
tiny chime It was this time againC
as my soul slowly dries up fromD
another painE
-
I stood up acting brave in the middleF
of autumn not knowing the leaves wereB
falling and my soul is dying turning from yellow to a plain withered brownG
-
Then a voice with coldness embracedH
along my body seemed so helplessI
He lifted up my chin and washed offJ
my scarlet sin turning it as white as the winter snowK
-
With love and comfort in his dwelling placeL
nurtured by his amazing grace I woke up in the springfield full of ombre roses I found hope as the season changes from gloomy ashes to some better bushesM
