Its owner is quite happy though | A |
Full of joy like a vivid rainbow | A |
I watch him laugh I cry hello | A |

And laughs until her belly aches | C |
The only other sound's the break | B |
Of distant waves and birds awake | B |

The pond is hungry interesting and deep | D |
But he has promises to keep | D |
After cake and lots of sleep | D |
Sweet dreams come to him cheap | D |

He rises from his gentle bed | E |
With thoughts of kittens in his head | E |
He eats his jam with lots of bread | E |
Ready for the day ahead | E |
