On A Honey Bee Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCC DEDEFF GHGHII JKJKLL MLMLNN OPOCQQ

Thou born to sip the lake or springA
Or quaff the waters of the streamB
Why hither come on vagrant wingA
Does Bacchus tempting seemB
Did he for you the glass prepareC
Will I admit you to a shareC
-
Did storms harrass or foes perplexD
Did wasps or king birds bring dismayE
Did wars distress or labours vexD
Or did you miss your wayE
A better seat you could not takeF
Than on the margin of this lakeF
-
Welcome I hail you to my glassG
All welcome here you findH
Here let the cloud of trouble passG
Here be all care resignedH
This fluid never fails to pleaseI
And drown the griefs of men or beesI
-
What forced you here we cannot knowJ
And you will scarcely tellK
But cheery we would have you goJ
And bid a glad farewellK
On lighter wings we bid you flyL
Your dart will now all foes defyL
-
Yet take not oh too deep a drinkM
And in the ocean dieL
Here bigger bees than you might sinkM
Even bees full six feet highL
Like Pharaoh then you would be saidN
To perish in a sea of redN
-
Do as you please your will is mineO
Enjoy it without fearP
And your grave will be this glass of wineO
Your epitaph a tearC
Go take your seat in Charon's boatQ
We'll tell the hive you died afloatQ
