| Is one very large plump Nectarine | B |
| That you can t wait to fondle | C |
| Firm but with a softness that sings to you | D |
| It s a love you want to smother with your lips | A |
| Suck its creamy flesh and let the juices | A |
| Slither down your chin catching it on | B |
| The tip of your tongue | E |
| And then go straight in for the bite | F |
| Right into the mouth | G |
| Wham You re there | H |
| Savouring every second | I |
| Till you can t take any more | J |
| Overcome with sheer happiness | A |
| Now that s what I call love | K |

Poet's note: I had just bought some nectarines so that I could have one after my dinner. But I stared at them and they stared back at me and I just caved in, sinking my teeth into its soft juicy flesh. Heaven!
