I express my heart out through silence
I break my vocal cord to feed conscience
The rhythmic pattern of my intention is of essence
So I bury words to avoid violence
Not all words worth expressing
In my quietness the soul feels refreshing
Once the Angel told me silence is golden
And to be obedient is to broaden your horizon
Of what use is language?
When we can't say anything to death
Taking our loved ones away
Of what use is language?
When we can't speak against the prophets
Leading us astray
Of what use is language?
If we pray and yet slay
I watch the clouds clueless
I hear the speakers speaking with no words
Nothing thoughtful, all I perceive is silence
Silence
