Camma Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCCBBDDB EAFEFA

To Ellen TerryA
-
As one who poring on a Grecian urnB
Scans the fair shapes some Attic hand hath madeC
God with slim goddess goodly man with maidC
And for their beauty's sake is loth to turnB
And face the obvious day must I not yearnB
For many a secret moon of indolent blissD
When in midmost shrine of ArtemisD
I see thee standing antique limbed and sternB
-
And yet methinks I'd rather see thee playE
That serpent of old Nile whose witcheryA
Made Emperors drunken come great Egypt shakeF
Our stage with all thy mimic pageants NayE
I am grown sick of unreal passions makeF
The world thine Actium me thine AnthonyA
