You raised me well and educated meA
But now that I'm a fully grown manD
You can't make decisions for meA

When you became a widowG
Strong and hardworking you remainedH
You did not abandon me and my siblingsI
I was the th but only years old thenJ
I'm now aged years and studyingK
I'm doing quite well financiallyA

I will forever be thanksful to youL
For your dedication and sacrificeM
That saw you upbringing usN
In the most impecable wayO
But now let me decide on this oneP
I beg of you pleaseQ
My wife should be a woman when I chooseR
