Let us write a poemA
on torn leaflets with fragmented quillsB
-
Let us spit the inks of affectionC
on blank pages and cracked wallsB
-
Let us write about the moonless nightD
and the bygones moon light melodiesB
sang by two black birds sitting on a wallE
-
Let us shake heads to the echoesB
of our breathings that danced coherentlyF
in the air with the flickers of firefliesB
-
Let us write about the summer windG
the whispers and clasp of our pyjamasB
that cuddled the breeze on our corridor's railH
-
Let's write about the distant mufflesB
of trains on a subway at black nightsB
and the heavy knocks of our feetI
singing back home along the silent streetsB
-
Let us write about the red smoochesB
the plural pantings and laced sweatsB
-
Let's write about the Moan ningJ
that faded away like morning mistK
before the erection of daybreak sunC
-
Let's write about the hummingJ
we hummed from COAST to COASTL
that shows WE ARE ALIVEM
to see the GREEN GRASSES of OVERSEASB
-
Tonight let us write a poemA
about the love kite we set looseB
how we watched it soared in the grey skyN
with folded arms and a tinted smilesB
